Danielle is President of the Ottawa-Gatineau Chapter of CPRS. She is a bilingual communications practitioner with close to 20 years experience in the health sector. She manages her own consulting business, BKT Health Promotion and Communication Inc., delivering strategic communication advice to a variety of clients. Until recently, Danielle managed the communications function for the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Health Check program for close to 10 years, developing, implementing and evaluating strategies to build public awareness and understanding of the program. She has also worked with clients such as the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and the Canadian Nurses Association. She is currently employed part-time as Communications Specialist with the Champlain Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Network (CCPN) in Ottawa where she is working with CCPN partners to develop a health communication campaign focusing on sodium reduction.
