Language lessons from a bumper sticker

I get excited about language. Casually utter fortuitous or ubiquitous and my heart starts racing. Toss out perspicacious and I might just faint. Okay, maybe I’m being a little facetious here but you get the point; however, it doesn’t apply to business communication.
I saw a great bumper sticker the other day: eschew obfuscation, which essentially means be clear. Certainly when it comes to business communication, if you want your audience to understand you, you should be as clear as possible. Read the rest of this entry »
